i'm military currently stationed in iraq. I would like to take care of a warrant but can not because of this deployment. I discovered i had the warrant shortly after I left. called sherriff was told i have to appear in person. (easy fix once I get back) .
Problem is I'd like to register my vehicle in my home state before I leave Iraq. Will a warrant in another state prevent me from gaining registration? warrant is minor offense

WHY DON'T YOU JUST CALL YOUR LOCAL DMV OFFICE, THEY WILL BE ABLE TO ANSWER ANY AND ALL OF YOUR QUESTIONS.

PS: DON'T GIVE THEM YOU NAME JUST ASK.

each state will probably differ on this. But, they sort of stay in touch with one another with the "system".
I really don't know if a minor offense will keep you from registering. All you can do is try.

Good Luck to ALL of you over seas & Thank You!

In this computer age, the attempt to register your vehicle (actually your name) will probably have a "red flag". Depending on your home State, they may or may not register it.
