The fact that the dream continues to disturb you is the most important aspect of this dream. It disturbs you, because, like a conflict it is between you and you, your decisions and your outcome.
The dream means you were trying to make a CHANGE. The "people" you killed were parts of you. You wanted to rid yourself of those aspects of you, so you could be free and ascend. But you weren't quite ready for those qualities, aspects, habits of you to leave.
You knew you had to make important changes in how you were living your life, in order to have a better life, and you wanted to do that. That was your need for heaven. But you were in conflict regarding the things you perceived needed to be changed. You weren't ready to "kill" them. They would hold you down, if killed; you first have to make peace with them, to incorporate those parts of you into the new you that can be free and "ascend" or achieve the life you want to live.
Your dream is telling you that the changes you want to make can't be done so easily as you think. You can't just get RID of them, go into DENIAL about them; you must first DEAL with them, because by "killing" them, they will remain in your unconscious and weigh you down, literally.
(Forgive me if I repeat myself. I am going on inspiration and not censoring/editing for fear I might miss or forget something.)
The confusion is appropriate, because your unconscious is taking on your unconscious! What did you try to break from in yourself, kill in yourself, that you know was/is not ready to be let go of so easily? In that is the confusion.
And, as I think of this, it could also have been a relationship you thought you could just "kill" and be done with, a friendship, a way of being with your parents. Whatever it was, it was something that in your conscious life, you believed you could handle by will, but clearly your dream is telling you that you can't. More thought and action must take place. (You may not have been as ready as you thought your were, for example, to have dropped that friend, so you could move on. There may have been something in the friendship that lingered, that you still wanted in your life, and your dream, in this case would have been telling you that "killing," that is, completely dropping that person was not the way to go; you had to choose a middle ground, if you were to be free.)
Whichever way you look at it, IN SUM, the aspects are
1. You were at a time that changes were being made
2. You wanted freedom, "heaven," a better life
3. You believed that making those changes--even carelessly or too casually or without enough work or thought--would bring you that freedom, that happy life.
4. Your dream tells you that it isn't all that easy; you must incorporate those changes into you, if you want happiness; you must make peace with them, or, at least let go or change more slowly.

Some dreams come from things like something you saw on television or a remark you made at one time. For example, if you were joking and said something like, "If anyone wakes me up I'll kill any and all of them" you could dream about killing people. Sometimes dreams are that simple.
You could have, somewhere in the back of your mind, the idea that you've done things to hurt people and won't get to heaven; or the heaven thing could represent something like a wish to get to a nicer kind of life but people are holding you back or else guilt over emotional hurting someone (or thinking rotten thoughts about them secretly) is hold you back from success.
You could have also see a very heavy person or a very box and for a second thought about the weight. That could have factored into your dream. If you worry about your own weight or if you ate too much before you went to sleep (and felt heavy) that could have been incorporated into the dream.
If you watch a lot of violent tv or movies killing will make its way into your dreams somewhere along the way. Maybe you watched something or heard someone talking about out of body experiences.
The fewer emotional issues you have, the more likely your dreams will be nothing much more than 'the week in review" all mixed up.

I don't think there's any serious mystical occult meaning in there .... I think this dream is just expressing your frustration at not being able to achieve certain things, because you feel that you are being held down in some way, possibly by something you've done.
Dreams shouldn't be taken literally, the mind is a subtle and often bizarre thing, so getting worried about having killed people is not necessary - at worst it suggests you have something on your conscience which you find hard to confront.
Really, I wouldn't worry about this, it could be something left over from early childhood, and for children trivial little things are often made huge and threatening, when they are not. A child sees the world differently.

Perhaps you haven't killed anyone physically but your subconscious was probably trying to tell you that you wronged those people that were preventing you from going to heaven. Expressed in a sort of self judgment, you probably feel or felt, since it was a year ago, that you were not worthy of "going to heaven" which could most likely be interpreted as being rewarded. Basically your subconscious expressed a feeling of guilt for those who you've wronged in one way or another. Think of the people that you killed (in your dream I mean), did you ever do anything really bad to them or felt you've let them down in some way?

It signifies a karmic imbalance at the soul level, which is blocking your rise in your present life, so let it clear up on its own; as and when soul gets ready to clear it up. The blocks that you might be feeling at that time, might not be of your own doing, in present life at least.
I am also tending to agree with what Desi suggests here, that the killing aspect might also be about your self-denial in the past, ( this might even be from a past life), which is now showing up as blocks in your complete integration as a whole. What are you denying, your darkness or your light?

usually to dream of death means a new beginning in real life,
To dream of not being able to get to heaven because of the weight of people that you had supposedly killed can tend to mean that you are held back in business.
it can also mean that things are going to be positive in the future, but you will have some drawbacks of some kind
Hope this helps

Well you do not have to actually go out and murder someone to kill them. You can tell lies on people and not know that the lie lead to their death. Or you can be involved with helping someone who sold drugs and people died as a result of it. You are then considered a partaker of their sins. So, you might want to check who your friends are who are doing dirt. If you know they are doing wrong and you still hang out with them, you them become a partaker of whatever they do. So, if they are liars, dope dealers, and so on, then your just like an accessory to whatever they do, because you did not stand up for what was right. Okay. take care.

i dont really think that your dream was a prophecy or anything. probably it was just a weird dream. once i dreamt that i touched my mouth, then 3 teeth just came straight out, stuck together by the sides. i looked in the mirror and touched another tooth and my jaw came off. then everything i touched died... it was a creepy dream and i dream it again every now and then but i dont think it means all of my teeth are going to fall out. :D lol
