Big Bang is a scientific theory that explains scientific facts.
The Universe is expanding according to measurement. The Universe is 4 billion years old, again according to measurement.
The theory that explains these facts is call the Big Bang theory. A theory may changes with more facts. The scientific method is how theory explains facts.
Answer: There is a great deal of difference between the Universe and a grave yard.

You have absolutely no idea what the big bang was and you do not grasp the concepts. Don't dismiss things you fail to understand as if you know more than the scientists who research these things for a living, that is just being arrogant.
To answer your other question I believe in the big bang because the evidence overwhelmingly supports the theory even if the bangs origins are still trying to be explained.

what is required for existence?
matter
form
information
God could quite easily have simply spoken the big bang into being - instantaneous speed of light (it is slowing down see the work of Barry Setterfield)
but God required information which is the third quality of existence - for this to be possible
easy for God to know the number of hairs on our head and each time a sparrow falls - He made DNA
what is DNA?
Information
True science is never in disagreement with true theology but the prejudices and lack of thought evidenced by both sides sometimes means there is more heat than light generated -
science can sometimes provide the answers to how? questions
theology on the other hand can provide the answers to the why? questions

Doesn't a big band speak to the possibility that God created all? I mean, it is a starting point. It's the beginning of the game. God set everything up and said "okay, now go." Science isn't stupid... it merely shows us how the universe was created. We have absolutely no idea who or what or why in regards to the Big Bang.

Your premise is wrong. Explosions can make things. Technically, many of the things are actually formed after the explosion, as the system cools. There is a specialized field od shockwave chemistry. (Shockwaves have a high effective temperature.) The catch is that these things made are tiny in comparison to the explosion. Things that rely on gravity need bigger explosions than those dependent on electromagnetism (chemicals). In order to make a galaxy supercluster-sized object, you'd need an explosion the size of the universe.

Actually blowing stuff up merely changes its state of being, its not really destroyed at all.
And hether it was a big bang or some dude turning on the lights, it started somewhere.

Um...I don't think blowing up cemeteries and making zombies would be a good idea though because then we'd get accused by the religious zealots of playing God.

( IT WAS *NOT* AN EXPLOSION, IT WAS EXPANSION! )
I ACCEPT B.B. COSMOLOGY BECAUSE OF...
S U P E R B ... R O C K ... S O L I D ... E V I D E N C E ! ! !
1. Expanding Universe ( What Else Is Possible? )
2. Big Bang 'Afterglow' or Heat Residue... CBR / CMB.
The BB was hypothetical with Hubble’s expanding universe & Lemaitre's circa 1930 'cosmic egg'; became a theory with Gamow in '48 (including prediction of the BB heat residue - Cosmic Background Radiation - CBR) and was widely regarded as FACT after Penzias and Wilson happened across the CBR 'afterglow' in '64 (they weren't looking) and measured it at almost the precise level of that predicted: ~2.76 degrees Kelvin.
All the above - except Priest LeMaitre - are Nobel Laureates for their contributions to BB. … The COBE satellite has since measured CBR as almost uniform throughout the Universe was nailed shut as FACT with wildly successful WMAP, including the famed precise dating of 13.7 bya.
(If you Google, CBR is also known as CMB; B=Background). Even religious organizations and sites recognise the status of BB Cosmology as 'FACT'... "After decades of struggle, other scientists came to accept the Big Bang as fact."

Pls Note: Big Bang Does *NOT* Preclude The Existence of God, as a God *could* be the initiator/starter (not MY take).

Um, do you know what the big bang theory entails? How can you believe in god? Parting water and all that crap. Weren't women in Salem hung for that sort of thing? Sounds like some misinterpreted exaggerated stories to me.

Blowing up a cemetery isn't a very good idea. The last time I tried that one I was haunted for about two months by some pissed off ghosts...
