that depends on what kind of training.
I hold my new born pups everyday to check tehm and also get them use to being held.
They don't open their eyes and ears until 10-14 days .
At 4 weeks they can start to be weaned
I keep my pups on ppaers and at about 4 weeks I give them a small blanket and papers in a small area and start paper training them.
Occassionally I will get a pup that can be noisy f and I will start to train it to be queit
but the majority of the traioning is after 6 weeks.

As soon as she is old enough that her eyes are open and she's starting to walk, you can do little things, like praising or treating her for responding to the name you intend to call her. When I raise litters, at about 4-5 weeks, I sit on the floor with each pup and lots of treats and gently help them sit and lie down. You can start to leash break them too at this age. With their little leash on, you can use treats and teach come (use the leash so they don't learn to run away when you say come. Only train for 2-5 minutes at a time with a little puppy. Make sure it is all POSITIVE and FUN-- you can ruin a dog for life if you are using punishment training at this age (although it's not really ever neccessary, she will be less easily crushed at older ages). As she gets older you can slowly increase training time, and at about 12 weeks she can enroll in a puppy training class with a local dog trainer. The earlier you train a puppy the better--just like it's easier to teach kindergartners than Jr High kids! Just make sure you don't take her away from mom and her litter mates too early... this can cause lifelong problems like separation anxiety. Most experts reccomend weaning from mom around 5 weeks and not leaving the litter group till at least 8 weeks.

At about 3 months old u can start to house train ur puppy, much younger than that, their muscles have not developed enough to control their pee and poo, but u can start socializing them with people and other pets after they r weaned, which is around 6/8 weeks old. Your puppy`s mother will take care of all his/her needs for the first 6 weeks, nursing and cleaning up after it, then that is the time u mostly take over, introducing soft foods as the mother begins to wean it. Take them both outdoors, so the puppy gets a feel of the ground and here he will begin to do his business. Don`t expect miracles to happen until he is a bit older. Good luck, I adore puppies.

He has about 8 more weeks to go......but then its time to hit the books!! Start out at a few minutes at a time, but no more. They have the attention span of a gnat (and can be overwhelming) !! LOL But the basic commands like sit, stay, down and such are the ones you should start out with then enroll the baby in obedience classes and you will have a well mannered pup in no time! Good Luck!!
