there is 2 amps in my convertible 01 mustang mach stereo with boss cd player , but 1 amp blew up so is there any way i can connect the wires from the 2nd amp to the first one, or any other ideas !!!please help.........

i dont really care bout splitting the power as long as i get something in there!!! but the wires are different in each amps!?!?!!? how do i do that?

You can't run both speaker systems from one factory amp. The 2-amp system in a Mach-equipped Mustang uses built-in amplifier crossovers; one amp plays only bass, the other plays only mid and high frequencies. If you connect all speakers to one of the amps you'll get only one or the other.

Your best option is to replace the defective amplifier; or pull the entire system and replace it with an after-market setup.

You could always hook the wires up together, but then you have to split the power in half because you're running twice what you should be. I recommend buying a new amp.
