I think this is a rather fitting analogy for what Israel (with U.S. dollars and arms, of course) did to Lebanon.

And before you say "Toys can't be compared to human lives" or some such thing, really think. Whether we like it or not, we ARE the pawns of politicians. Nothing more. Until we stand up, that is.

Anyhow, the question still is: if your neighbor's child stole some of your child's toys, would you burn his house down?

Heck no!! However, I would say something about it. Then of course I'd most likely get the child some toys of his or her own. The Israel thing isn't going to be solved for a long time until everyone involved learns to ask questions then maybe not even shoot at all.

Nope, and I wouldn't even make my kids stop playing with them. I would try to talk to them, and if that didn't prove fruitful, I would use it as an example of how not to behave to my children They are, however, usually much more reasonable than adults about material things. I would not let my children play in their home because of poor parenting. They would have to play in my yard. Not a political answer and I am not sure how to translate the analogy to foreign policy.

I pay $10 an hour for 3 little ones 5, 3, 2 - I discern she is a great babysitter and that i decide for to maintain her around I might desire to pay her nicely. I had somebody tell me $4 an hour as quickly as and that i refused, I advised her i mandatory to pay her a minimum of $8 an hour or i might experience like i became into taking benefit of her.

Reading other answers - you've been lucky enough to never have neighbor's who's greatest wish is to drive you off your land and hope you die a hideous death? It's not an oer simplification, it's actually quite apt.

Toys and neighbor children - quite a direct analogy.

No I wouldn't burn down my neighbours house. I do have more control over what does happen in that situation than when a country leader declares war...

Over simplification.

Not an applicable direct parallel.

You have gone down from rival nations to next door neighbors.
