If you didn't know, the reason why God commanded them to do that at that time was because there were many more women that needed a good home and support. Mormons do not still practice polygamy and it was actually very hard for many mormon men to obey this commandment back then. Not all of them wanted to obey it and some didn't, even Joseph Smith asked Heavenly Father multiple times if this was really an ok thing to do. but, he got his answer and that was that.

King Solomon and Kind David of the Old Testament had harems. That polygamy is an evil practice is therefore not an absolute truth. Maybe Joseph Smith fancies himself to be the latter day Solomon or David.

Look in the Old Testament. Abraham had what 2 or 3 wives and then look at the house of Israil. He had what 5 wives? If the bible so preaces against it why does it have some of the ost richeous men doing this practice.

How can you possibly claim to know all about all the wives of Joseph Smith Jr? Even the Church is unsure how many wives were simply "sealed" to him (it was a common practice for women to be sealed to high ranking Church officials, even if they were never husband and wife in the traditional sense) and how many he took as actual wives for this life.
Many of the women identified of the Wives of Joseph Smith page only came forward years after Joseph's murder. Without the original notes from the President's Office and the Nauvoo temple, there isn't conclusive proof ne way or the other.

He became cautioned via Alimighty God and via His Son, Jesus Christ to repair the completed gospel to the earth. no person worships Joseph Smith. he's a prophet, in basic terms like Moses, Adam, Aaron, Abraham, Nephi, Lehi... devil CAN"T help Christ! not something stable comes from devil!!!! I'm sure that "Rotten" or www.rotten.com is completely objective (please read the former with a sarcastic or sardonic tone)
Certainly the LDS sites (listed below) come from a certain P.O.V. Our point of view. We think highly of the information there because we believe it is inspired by God.
Jesus Christ leads and directs His church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) today through His prophet and apostles.
So yes these sites are non-objective, they are subjective from the P.O.V. of our Savior.
The other sight are subjective from some other source.

This place is teaming with Mormons armed and ready to defend their faith. One would think they should be out working so they could afford their tithing and stop filing for bankruptcy so much, but apparently they are here-harassing anyone that complains.
Nobody seems to care. Most Mormons don't care because they are not concerned with facts or truth-they believe first then mold their perceptions to their beliefs no matter how illogical they are. They have more alibis than a teenager trying to get out of chores when you show them facts. Non Mormons are not aware of the potential problem LDS's could be and so don't care.
