dont you realize there isnt ever anything "free"?! there is no "Magic" money in france or spain or cuba that pays for national health care. it comes from taxes. so you will still be paying for the health care you receive just not directly to the doctors office just to the govts office. thats socialism in a nutshell. the "state" takes your money and redistributes it as they see fit
yep socialism rocks huh?

People who have bad experiences will cling to anything if it would spare what they endured. but what they dont realize is the other problems they would bring just to solve the current one!

This is just the first step. Michael Moore is a cradle to grave socialist. Next will come government provided housing and income for those too lazy to work. Most of the twits who support his agenda don't pay taxes and are more than willing to spend other peoples money.

I can tell you from experience that government run health care sucks. I've used the military medical system and the VA. 6 months after I retired from the military, I decided that while the cost was cheap, the danger to my health was too great to stay in the system. I purchased my own insurance and I have not used the government system in 15 years. I should get some kind of rebate.

Word to the wise. Antiacid is not effective in curing appendicitis. Also, government run heath care reduces the wages of doctors. That is why Britain imports 50% of their doctors and get a terrorist cell as a bonus.

You know the stories in "Sicko" are true. I have seen it personally from 15 years of being a nurse. I don't believe that socialized healthcare is the answer though, I believe health insurance reform is what is really needed. The health insurance companies need to offer plans where a group of small businesses can get together and get the same rates that the larger companies get. That way health insurance would become more affordable and more people would be covered.

Well Academy awards are given out for advantage, and Michael Moore has one. Even although he and Mel Gibson are often at reverse political poles, they complimented every different's paintings. Michael Moore makes documentaries and they're lovely entirely vetted for truth, however he does take a few liberties courteously, reminiscent of taking competencies of a Charlton Heston ache from dementia. Michael Moore makes a heck of plenty extra experience than the folks seeing the New World Order below each bush. And I don't see your argument approximately bashing in any respect. Bashing might be to uncover trivia to prefer at to mention America is unhealthy. He facets out possibilities to make it greater. I don't believe all of his politics, or perhaps a majority, however I do take into accout of possibilities for benefit.

Possibly because so many cannot afford health insurance and many who do pay high premiums have to fight for care. Some are even denied care.

If you saw the film did you not notice that people in Western Europe live very well. The high taxes pay for health care, education and vacations and sick leave. Having lived in Sweden for 17 years I assure you there are no exaggerations in Moore's film.

IF you actually watched Sicko you realize that he never says a national health care system is free. He acknowleges that taxes would be higher but also says and shows that the higher taxes are still lower than what we currently are paying in premiums, co-pays, etc., for marginal health care.

Michael Moore's trick is that he writes books and makes films that lead people to make an extreme emotional reaction. If you saw the interview he had with Wolf Blitzer on CNN last week, he was very emotional. That is Michael Moore's secret to influencing people.

It's interesting that Michael Moore is such a fan of socialism, when capitalism is what has made him a multi-millionare. Last I heard, he wasn't offering to give all those profits back.

What is there to believe? It's a movie, a farce, a comedy, a peek into some experiences but not all and not a true indicator of our health system. Just like the conservatives "stretch the truth" to fit their needs, some liberals do likewise!

With a name like "libturdssuck" you probably miss out on a lot of what's really going on. You're just another "Con-job".

er... I don't think he calls it "free" in the movie...

and when private companies fail to offer a life and death service at a price that people can afford... something has to be done...

right now CEOs are taking your money and distributing it as they see fit... and it's about 2 times as much money as most socialized nations take per person... to provide a service that's about 90 percent the same on average...

Socialist democracy sounds pretty good, like Canada, England, Germany, France, and basically every single other industrialized nation on the planet.
