People who have neutered their dogs, did you give pain meds? antibiotics? If you did, kindly let me know what the vet prescribed, the dosage, and how many times a day? It would help if you can tell about small breed puppies under 6 month age. Kindly be polite and no abusive language.
Thankyou.

Nope no pain meds, no antibiotics, no need for them.. The vet gives them a shot for pain, and a shot of antibiotic when he does the surgery, and they don't need anything else after that.. You want to keep the dog quiet when he gets home, you don't really want him coming home and feeling wonderful.. It's going to be harder to keep him calm and quiet if he comes home and feels like chasing the cat!

Pain meds are common for spay and sometimes neuter.
Metcam is common, dosage on bottle by weight.
