I like it! But I may be biased. My next door neighbor's son was named Jaylen and he was ADORABLE!

I think it sounds like a girl name. I think it is because it is close in spelling and sound to Jayden which is typically a girl name.

I think there are much better, less confusing, names out there for a boy.

However, if you like it go with it. Because your opinion is the only one that matters. Just remember though, one day he will be an adult and would that name be appropriate for a doctor or lawyer, a business man... that sort of thing. I think a lot of parents forget about that when they are naming their children. They just want something that is "cute" and different and don't think about the fact that they will be stuck with it forever!

Good Luck and Congrats!

The sound of it is good. I like that part. However, being unfamiliar with the name, had you not told me it was for a boy, I just as easily might have thought it a girl's name.

Sorry if that is not what you want to hear. It is a nice name though and I am simply not up on the newer baby names.

i be responsive to slightly boy with the call, yet spelled Jaelon. by fact of that slightly boy directly pops into my head as quickly as I hear the call. The y makes it look girly even with the shown fact that.
