the pain for me was not that bad....I have 2 tats...one red,white,and blue stars on my foot and a cat on my lower back. the most painful part of your body will be on any boney areas. there is just about every color imaginable out nowadays
so get creative...and try it out in washable marker first to see how you like it and to decide where to put it.

Pain is different for everybody. Some say it tickles, some say it hurts like hell. I believe it feels like someone dragging a needle over a sunburn. Annoying, but nowhere near unbearable.
Places near bones hurt more than fleshy places for the most part.
You can get any color you want. White usually fades to a yellow or grayish color. But yeah, any color you want.

everyone has a different pain tolence and certain places hurt more than others... closer to the spine and on a bone hurts the most..
there are lots of colors ask the artist you go to see what they have they should have main colors like (black,white,red.yellow,green,blues,etc)
