If you're good at your classes, and enjoy them, you will be a good doctor. The biology classes, and later on, pre-med will give you a good idea of what things doctors do and think about. You'll have a very good idea of it long before you get there.

You should really take some time to consider this. If you like biology it doesn't mean that you'll be liking doing patients and touching them. So what if you have As, means nothing in the real world.

GO take an anatomy class and cut a cat up before you consider doctor. You can be book smart, but it means nothing.

remember one thing... being a doctor is a heavy burden. its a lifetime of hardwork, dedication and loss of freedom. if you are the free spirits kind then forget about it. you have to keep studying all your life to keep updated about the latest treatments. you wont have much free time to yourself. you will see lot of pain and suffering which you will have to disconnect yourself from and not take everything personal. if you enjoy helping people, you are the hardworking types, then you will be good at it.

I assume you're still in a high school. Take pre-med courses in college and see if you like them. Keep the option open and eventually you'll decide whether to apply to med schools.
