it's because he doesn't like to do it himself. So i checked it today, and he had an email from his sister. She was responding to an email that he sent her, and it was also there so i read that too. In it, he explained to her that the reason he hasn't paid her back for a plane ticket she put on her visa at xmas is because he dates a broke person (me, i guess) and lives with a couch potato (his bro). And he called us freeloaders. I pay my own bills, and i cook for him every night. But i am a single mom so if he wants us to go out and do something, most of the time he does have to pay for me as well, cause i don't have extra cash for partying, etc. And i've told him this & he has told me that he likes to do these things for us. I am very hurt by what he wrote. He told me to check his email so i wasn't prying but do i talk to him about this or let it go cause he was just making an excuse bout why he hadn't paid her yet? Sorry such a long question....

He has no right to speak about you that way. You have to confront him. Reading it may have been wrong, but you already did and that's that. Now you need to know why he would say such a hurtful thing--and he'll have to explain--PERIOD. He gave you access to his e mail account so it didn't take much for you to find that letter. More than likely he was just makes excuses to his sister because he hasn't paid her since December--man, if someone hasn't given me any money since Dec. for my credit card, I'd be pissed!!

In my world, I use my girlfriend like I used my wife and she used me: the built in excuse. It's between him and his sister. That he called you a freeloader is cause to a conversation but a calm and polite one. Ask him if that's true. If so, talk about it. If not, he needs to stop the name calling relative to you.

Well, me personally? My opinion?
I'd wait until I was in bed and he was good and well ready to get some and then I would quietly say "Honey, not tonight. I'm too busy being a freeloader. Wouldn't want to pay my way with sex."

I'd talk to him. My thoughts is that he should want his sister to think highly of you and if he is calling you a freeloader then when y'all meet up she is probably goin' to have an attitde.
And the facts are that if he is goin' to lie to her then he will lie to you. So you might want to check out ASAP

he was probably lying to her because he doesnt want to pay for her ticket... or something, but he doesnt mean it, its just exaggeration. anyways talking always clears out any vagueness or anything thats just unclear.. you know what i mean
