Face to face and not on the phone or internet like a chicken. Like someone else said wisely, be a man about it and tell her why. Don't butter her up or sugar your words. Be honest and concise. That's the best way.

Why do you want to break up with her? Is it because you have different interests and hobbies? Is it because you are not ready to get involved in a serious relationship? Is it because something that she said or did? Is it because you met somebody else? What is it??? Only YOU know the answer. Think about it carefully. Make sure you make the right decision. If you are 100% sure that you want to end the relationship then you should go to her and tell her face to face (not through the phone or voicemail, not with a letter or a card, not with email, not through a mutual friend or a stranger). It will be very uncomfortable but just do it. But try your best not to hurt her feeling. Some people say that the truth will set you free, THAT is not always true.

Face to face, calmly, but firmly. Be ready for the tears but keep in mind a very important difference between men and women (at least in my experience), men can't think when they're crying. We're embarrassed cause big boys don't cry and we're upset. Women not only can but DO think when they're crying. So just be ready. Don't be cruel, hateful, or mean spirited. Tell her and then MAKE A CLEAN BREAK OF IT!!

Be a man face up to her... dont be like most males and break up with someone that obviously at one point and time was what u wanted.... with a text message, instant message, email or a phone call, do it face to face and explain your reasoning dont be mean about it BE NICE... in return she will probably be mean to you however be nice and eventually she will think of you as a good person for not being a **** about it ....

It's hard to break up with someone. I guess it depends on how long you've been seeing each other. But since you've been calling her your girlfriend, in person would be best. She deserves that kind of respect.

if you show your cowardice in breaking up , you will not be remembered by in future ..
show the courage , the way you showed courage to be friendly with her .. and the situation of breaking up has come due to your cowardly attitude you may be showing in issues touching you both.
that is why she is breaking up with u. now

well i suppose just tell her on her face why do you want to break up with her tell her what she's done wrong and say it clearly to her that you have made a mistake and for that i want to leave you so its finshed between me and you.
