You did not cite the New Testament verse which pertains to your question. If you are referring to the Old Testament there is no conflict. Jesus Christ did not abolish these commandments. Catholics, however, do not observe the Mosaic Law on food restrictions, ritual purity, etc.

Peace and blessings!

Christianity has broken the First commandment and committed the CARDINAL SIN of associating a partner unto the One God.

I can help but I type slow one sec please thanks!
NO Law see!
1 cor 6:12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
The Key Words: (but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me,) Oh no!? How can we discern what this are expedient, who will teach us?
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Whew! That was Close!!!
Yet to, answer What is the New Testament Biblical definition of Sin?
Let's examine this; GRACE
Rom 4:3-5 (For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. )
Who Justifieth the ungodly? Let's look at- Gal 3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
Great but how do the justified live? Gal 3:11 (But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.) In conclusion let us consider:
Romans14:23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.(Emphasizing(for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.))
Ultimately!!!! Sustainability of NT grace is in the Comforter /Holy spirit, which testify of Jesus which testify of God. (I though I'd just throw the path of Sustainability in there.)"giggles"

Love God or love one another as God has loved you. If you don't love God OR you don't show love to one another, you have sinned! That's why the concepts of grace and forgiveness are so cool.
