Where can I find software to ignore or correct errors on DVD-RW?

I am not able to erase or format the disc.

It might be the end of days for that particular DVD-RW. I usually just let Nero erase the disk when I go to burn something else. Eventually, the DVD-RW's wear out and you can't use them anymore.
