I've known a couple of very honest people who have made this claim, of having a dream of a very specific location (be it a house interior, a street, etc) that they have never been to before, a place completely new. Then shortly after this dream, they are actually in the specific location that they saw in their dream (down to very specific, minute details.) In other words, they had somehow, in their dreams, seen a vision of the future.

I've heard this account from honest individuals who would have otherwise no reason to lie about something like this; additionally, I've read accounts like this in books as well.

Yeah, it would be easy to dismiss it all as a fanciful coincidence, but I'm just not sure.

Any thoughts?

No, some dreams are just clearer than others. Your dream was probably very clear. Your dream probably happend based on something happend that day or even the day before, maybe even the future. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

I think visions of the future can be real. Sometimes a dream is a just a goofy dream. Sometimes it's a message or a sign. I only remember this once, I had a dream that came completely true down to the details (in a familiar place). I'm sure it's happened several times to me.

This happens to me alot - only with very specific places, they call these dreams pre-cognitive.

The only two i strongly recall was dreaming of an area for a month and then coming across a newspaper articale with the exact area I had been dreaming of [it was in siberia!]

Second time I dreamt of what looked like a catholic /religious school.I was later taken to an art gallery by a friend that was indentical to the school but only from the front, same gates same gardens indentical, but the building was completely modernized and changed.

Another one was a school yard/assembly/quad? [ i dont know the american word] which I later saw in belgium.

They say the right hemisphere of the brain is responsible for intuition.Dreams I think because they operate primarily from the right and suppress the left probably heighten our intuitive abilities.

I've had dreams like this. Very specific; very detailed. I've dreamed exact places, conversations, conditions etc. In some cases I've awakened to a sense of emergency; in others a sense of caution; but when I followed the unction the dream imparted I found the details within the dream either revealed a specific reality, of which I needed to be aware or prevented me from extreme harm.

I wouldn't call it scientific, but I would definitely say it was spiritual.

Certain location you see in dream could just be a symbol of what you want to be in. They may not be a real place, even it is, it could be coincidental.

Our minds are tricky. Sometimes we see one thing, that image or item lurk into our subconscious mind for long time, and one day it popped up. That is due to our experience of different things, the subconscious mind somehow finds the need to show that item or location or whatever image.

That is why you see certain thing, location, item or even words in dream.

Yes, its called remote or distance viewing. Some people can be trained to see more than just a few details. Do a search on it. There is more data on this on the web.

You should try posting your dream to the Dreamcrowd web site. It gives you a free dream interpretation.

I hope that helps.

HONESTLY?

No one really knows for sure, and anyone who says differently is lying.
