You should get them bc your teeth will just get worse as you get older.

You will need time to get adjusted to them. It will hurt to eat and you'll find out that you can't eat a lot of the things that you like. When you get them tightened they will hurt and you'll have to take some advil to help with the pain. The dentist will give you wax to put over your braces so they won't irritate your mouth. But it will be worth it in the long run. Don't you want a beautiful smile with straight teeth? Or would you rather have crooked teeth?

yes it is ok to get braces now at your age and older. back in the old days people thought braces should be worn as a child. but now times have changed and there are so many styles to choose from. also they make them very clear that they are not as noticeable as in the past.and lots of people are fixing their teeth at ages much older than yours.im sure you will feel better and there will be a style just for you.

i got mine at age 40 and never regretted it. my orthodonist told me about a couple of sisters, aged 84 and 86 who were his only patients.
that being said, they are annoying, embarrasing and a general pain, but worth it.
