This body is but a mere chariot-a vehicle or a puppet which is being controlled by the soul. The soul is a point of light and in the form of a star which could be located on the forehead-between the two eye brows. But the intellect and the mind are both located in the soul. The body is mortal, perishable while the soul is eternal, immortal and imperishable. But love is from the heart and where there is love there is peace, happiness and bliss. Love is altruistic, sweet and kind and connotes virtues-the basis of love.

The heart is symbolic of the soul, which is symbolic of the mind. True love is unconditional. Therefore it is of the mind/heart/soul. However, if it is also physical, it can be a lot more fun. But that is for a Lover. Platonic Loved ones are unconditional too.

I believe love is from the heart soul and mind... it is all connected. True love is when you would sacrifice to be with the one you love, remind them how much you love care and need the person, to always be there for the one if they are in a tough situations under all circumstances and to want to spend every minute of the day with them. and to never leave the one hanging in a fight or walk out on them, but to stay and try to fix the problem when fighting...

I'd say emotion is from the heart and can be a by product of love. Jesus said love the Lord thy God with all your heart mind and strength so that tells me at least that to love is what someone determines to do.
I'd say in marriage doing right for your partner even when you don't feel like doing it ( your tired, you'd rather do something else or your mind is on something else ), would be an act of love.

True love is from and through your higher self, your spirit. Physical love is different from true love or spiritual love. Heart, soul, body and mind are of the one physical love. True love is perfect infinite love. Not the word we thrown around like garbage everyday.

Love is a force, a positive energy that holds the universe together. It is usually felt in the heart, definitely not in the mind. True love is pure love--no jealousy, envy, or control.
