If there were a god, she might enjoy a good debate handled with evidence, reason, good will and wit.
He wouldn't much care for R& S debates due to the lack of the above.
It wouldn't give prizes but it would chuckle or wink at a really good argument. A thumbs up from God would be greater than all the bowling trophies ever!
As for drinking, you are right. They'd be turning all of our diet cokes into single malts.

God would love a good debate...his son certainly got into it!

I've yet to see any really good debates on here...far too much silliness from people that don't really have any interest in the topic and from those that just want to criticize and insult others rather than engage in thoughtful debate. ...but there are a few good ones I think God would appreciate.

I hate scotch so I'd vote for some Dom or a nice reserve label merlot if he let me choose.

If there is a God, presumably we are "of" him and he *IS* enjoying the theological debates.

That is, "would" isn't the right word. "Is he enjoying this debate?" is more accurate.

For surely, to be omnipotent, he's gotta have a stooge at Yahoo ...

Why do you assume that we should allow him to judge our questions and answers? Maybe we should be judging him. (or it, or whatever the **** it would be.)
