now where would the fun be if we could prove, or disprove every belief.

I don't know what he is, I just think that there are people that need to believe in something. I think its funny actually how many thousands of people believe what they read with no proof. I would believe I came form an ape before anything else, i mean come on haven't we all seen an ape with our own eyes, how many out here has seen "god"

I think it is more a myth than a theory. For example, me saying that "I have a theory about giant aquatic rodents from a parallel dimension who are uniting to take over the world and turn humanity into a race of zombie slaves" doesn't really make it a theory...

For Christians, He has proven Himself through His Holy Spirit, who also has borne witness with our spirit that God's word is true. For those who don't believe, there will never be "proof", until they humble themselves before God and sincerely ask Him to reveal the truth to them. God can't be "proven" through worldly wisdom; God has chosen what non-believers consider foolishness to reveal Himself. When people close their minds to the truth, and instead rely on their own and the world's wisdom, logic and reasoning, they become deceived. Trust me, I've been there.

Theories, by definition, must be able to be tested through the scientific process. Since the mythology of deities is not based on physical evidence, but non-physical, intangible, intelligent beings, it cannot be called a scientific theory.

to me. yes.
how do we prove him?
why is god there but not all the other gods and goddesses in other religions there?
Why do people replace what we dont know with a higher magical being?
There is an element of chance in life.
Why do people go against that and say its all part of Gods plan?
There is sooo much more toit.
I would never trust the bible being that it was translated so many times.
Who knows what the original version said...
I am Atheist. believe what you want.

Technically yes, but a theory would have to be tested first would it not? I believe a theory is a hypothesis that has gone through some testing, just not enough to prove true or false.

God can be proven, look at the inherent intelligence demonstrated by every single intricate web of life and interaction on this earth and in this universe. If you cannot see the immense and amazing complexity and beauty that is earth, life, love and the universe, then you're blind.
This proves God, not to mention the fact that we were MADE by HIM to KNOW Him... look up peak experiences, enlightenment, Kundalini, Baptism of the Holy Spirit, spiritual ecstasy, etc etc etc. Countless proof.
PS. Yes I'm a Christian and I know evolution was created and used by God to purposely produce us, and that every scientific discovery is a glory of God's love and creation. Just because we haven't found ALL the answers, or are wrong sometimes about parts of things, and are still learning, doesn't mean that they are wrong does it?

I love it. Of course, and a crummy theory at that, since it hasn't anything substantial to even begin to go on. The funniest part of reading the Christians answers is when they say they can prove the existence of God.
So Christians who say they can prove God exists, go ahead.
take your time, I can wait...........
uh huh, just as I thought....

It couldn't be a theory because it would have to stand up to testing and Christians have this tendency of saying that god is tangible when they need to prove it but when you do it is suddenly intangible.

I am pondering this one...hmm..but I am having a tough time putting "just a theory" and "just faith" both of which are intangibles and coming up with an intelligent, coherent answer...let me ponder some more...
..not sure what I am...no label..just questioning my own faith...
