Not universal fit? On crutchfield, onyl 33 fit in my car. And they have over 100. So I can't just buy a unit and put it in? I have a 1995 eclipse

Actually, a 1995 Eclipse should have a double-DIN stack.

Just about any single DIN or double DIN head unit should fit, though some may require minor modification of the factory mounting brackets. You may need an adapter kit for a single-DIN unit; or you may need a universal DIN pocket, if your factory radio consists of a cassette/CD stack.

Thats dumb, it happens, they will fit, just dont put in for your vehicle, put in view all head units. btw crutchfield is expensive, go to www.cardomain.com... got all of my stuff there , $3200 in audio equipment.... aslo if you have problem there people will help you out... and they give you free stuff like the adapter and fittings to put in your new stuff, usually costs about 30$ anywhere else.

You have a din and a half radio or 1.5 din. You can use a 1.5 din radio or you can use the standard (regular size) single din radio with a mounting kit such as this one:
