I do. I'm going to take a hiatus. I think I'm too new a Christian and I'm not in a position to be going back and forth with unbelievers with anything besides scripture and my own experience. And sometimes not even that. I made a bad choice recently and I've given the devil a foothold. I'll be back!!! In case anyone wants to contact me, email me. Pray for me! God bless!

I Have been thinking I should not be here, I am strong in the Lord and have spent all of my life loving Jesus

I have a strong and abiding faith that the storms cannot shake

I am thinking of resting in the secret place of the Almighty and abiding under his wings

Psalms: 91

Think on this:

Isaiah 35:7-9

7And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.

8And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.

9No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:

Now this is the best:

Job 28:7-10

7There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture's eye hath not seen:

8The lion's whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it.

9He putteth forth his hand upon the rock; he overturneth the mountains by the roots.

10He cutteth out rivers among the rocks; and his eye seeth every precious thing.

You see we should be living in righteous and holiness
and living in a high place with God

A place he has prepared for those that love him
A place that transcends this present time

There is the ascended life where we are in heavenly places seated with Christ Jesus

The vulture is after the dead, on that path that Job saw the vultures eye has never seen it and no fierce or strong enemy
can go, just you and your Lord
And he will hide you safe in his arms until the storm passes by

Much love and prayers
May you find that secret place of the Most High God
And walk in it

This one is Solomon speaking of the temple, the place where Jesus is, the Holy of Holies, the secret place

Song of Solomon 2:14

14O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely, the Amplified says lovely

LORD YES! Sometimes I'll go over to YouTube for a couple of hours, just to take a break. Then I'll bounce around Wikipedia for a while, and see if anything is happening at Urbandictionary. Don't forget the Smokinggun, and of course the different blogs I like to track. Occaisionaly I have to turn away from the computer altogether and watch TV, Regis and Kelly, Entertainment Tonight and, of course, the Nightly Business Review. Inevitably, I wind up right back here at Yahoo Answers, fighting the good fight! Good luck! You tell that mighty demon "get hence, Satan!"

Well, I don't know about the devil part, but sometimes we all need a break. I get tired of it around here sometimes too. I like to wander around other sections. I'm going on vacation for a couple weeks, and I'm not taking my computer...it's good to keep your perspective. Having said all that, we should never be afraid to question our faith, or to think about what we believe and why. Since your a new Christian, I encourage you to open yourself up to lots of reading and learning.

Gave the devil a foot hold -- OK, well don't feel alone, most all of us have one time or another. You just threw a banana pealing under his feet, when you made your confessing to us.
Hang in there, take your break, and see you when you come back.

I go into Christian Chat rooms and have chats with some nice folks you should maybe give that a try, try this:

Occasionally yes, but you have a hiatus.

all the time, however, I feel your hiatus will be short-lived. No one can truly take a break from R&S.

I do too.. This place reeks of high school and immature crybabies. It drains energy, and that feeling is not good.
