Is it okay to give my cat milk?
Generally speaking no, cats shouldn't drink milk. Most cats are lactose (which are sugars in milk) intolerant & drinking milk may result in an upset tummy & cause diarrhea.
Nutritionally it is not necessary to give your cat milk. A bowl of water is adequate.
Not all cats are lactose intolerant & a little milk as a treat is fine, however the only real way to find out if your cat is lactose intolerant is to try it on a bowl of milk & see if it causes diarrhea. If you find your cat is fine with cow's milk then the occasional bowl is fine, but this should be given as a treat only.

Best not to give your cat cows milk as it can upset their stomach. There is milk especially for cats that you can buy in the pet food section. Once opened you have to store it in the fridge. The packet will say how long you can keep it for.

After they are kittens, milk is not extremely good for cats, except in moderation, unless they eat a lot of rodents, such as mice, moles, rats, chipmunks, etc. If *these* are "not" a large part of your cat's diet, don't let it have very much milk. The primary benefit cats derive from milk is offsetting the acidity of the rodents they eat!

the milk we drink is not good for cats. It will give them diarrhea and they can become dehydrated. If you go to a pet store they have a special kind of milk you can give your cat but im not sure on how much of it you would be able to give it.

NO milk is not the same as mothers milk..It is very hard for them to digest it..They love it but dairy products are not good for them at all..Some cats will get diarrhea so just give them cat food , tuna or tuna water.

not necessarily
Cats enjoy milk but too much can result in diarrhea.
A little bit of milk can serve as a treat but I wouldn't suggest it to feed your cat.

Give your cat water. Milk isn't that good for them. It can give them the runs. So stick to water.

Just asked the same question. In small quantities, it's okay. HOwever, because of all the chemicals, the cat could throw up cuz his body is not used to breaking down things like that. Just be careful.

Most cats are lactose intollerant. You can try but here's a better idea:
Clean cat and soak in salted water. Drain, disjoint it in pieces for serving and place in a large kettle with onions, bay leaf, celery and salt. Cover with cold water and cook slowly until tender, about two hours. Add chopped carrots and potatoes and continue cooking until these vegetables are done. Smooth flour with a little cold water and add slowly. When thickened, add chopped parsley and serve.
