yikes, that's a rough question, wolvesfan. I think your first answerer had a good point, and I'd like to add to that.
"... whoever believes in [Christ] shall not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
If you believe in Christ, you have not only eternal salvation, but a hand to reach out and catch you when you falter. Romans 8 says that "He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? What will ever separate us from the love of Christ?"
When you're feeling suicidal, it's hard to imagine anything beyond the darkness you are in. Like being inside a tunnel that seems to go on forever; when really light is just on the other side of the door. In times like these, we, like Hamlet, may wonder whether our fate in the afterlife might be better or worse than what we are facing right now.
But what you are facing now, you do not face alone. If you believe in Christ, you not only have hope for the afterlife, but hope for right now. Call out to Him, and He will draw near to you. He will be there for you. He will not let you be tested beyond what you can bear, but will provide a way for you to stand up under it.
Hope this helps.

I'm a christian--I believe that if we say that God is a merciful and understanding God, he will forgive those who have taken their lives--Besides, most people who commit suicide aren't in the normal state of mind--I am sure he would understand that. But, you know what I think in a nut shell? If you have a good heart made of gold, you will enter Heaven. If you have a black heart and are evil and have no remorse for anything, then I think you will go to hell. It doesn't matter what a book says, in my opinion.

I am a Fusionist. I was born and raised Jewish, practiced Zen Buddhism, incorporated Taoist philosophies into my life and am a baptized Christian. I believe the Universal Source can forgive most sins, short of deviance within the yin and yang of all mankind, or murder, which includes suicide. I do not think it based upon whether someone is a Christian, Jew, Hindu, etc., etc., ad nauseum. It is about Natural Law. They go to Hell. They create their own the minute they deviate from the natural order of this Universe.

Heaven-If you "Qualify" Hell If you don't
Romans 10:9 For ALL have sinned and become short of the Glory of God.
John 3:16 For God gave his only begotten Son, That WHOSOEVER believeth in him shall not die but have everlasting life.
These 2 verses sum it up. We are all headed to hell for sin. But if we accept Jesus and believe in him we have everlasting life in heaven. We will still sin, such as Suicide, stealing, lying, etc. But God assures us we are forgiven and have a place in heaven.

It is considered to be a one way ticket to hell. The ultimate rejection of God by rejecting your greatest gift from him, existence. You are not allowed to unjustly take a life, including your own. And if you succeed you may not have time or inclination to repent. Only God knows the absolute answer in all cases.
And yes I am a Catholic. First-born of Christians.

If if you asked God for forgiveness of all sins past and present then you will go to heaven because the Bible says the only unforgivable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

Child of GOD here. (what you would call a Christian)
Suicide is self-murder.
King David committed murder, he's in Heaven.
Moses committed murder, he's in Heaven.
Murder can be forgiven.
If you have been Born-Again, you will be in Heaven (with less rewards AND, still studying about it, you just might have to do some time in Outer Darkness)---if you are Saved, DON'T commit suicide.
Call out on Jesus, HE will help you!!!
If you are not Saved, you will end up in a Devils Hell.
Don't do it!!!
Call out on Jesus, HE will help you too!!!
Ditto...........

Heaven. Jesus believed that those we would normally shun need him and his salvation the most, so I truly believe that he and God would never foresake people like that.
Oh, and I'm Catholic, but I wasn't raised Catholic. I was baptized Catholic but raised by a Lutherin mother (never went to church), and am only now joining the Catholic church.
