Okay. Sorry for all my questions about spacers but I guess my orthodontist isn't that informative. Okay so as you might already know. I have spacers. (duh!!) but I got them Monday. And today, and I'm POSITIVE that it was today, one fell out. The one on the left side top molar in the way back. So I've had them five days. And this is the bad part. The ortho is closed until Monday which just so happens to be when my next appt. to get brackets and stuff is. I'm really worried that all my appt.'s will be delayed. So can you tell me if the space was made or something after five days or if I'm going to have to get another spacer or whatever. This really sucks. =[ And I didn't eat anything I wasn't supposed to. All I had to eat today was a plain plain plain donut and the only thing on it was a light sprinkle of sugar. It wasn't glazed or anything. Oh, and do you think that the spacer could get wrapped around my intestine?!?

the spacers probley fell out for the space between teeth was big enough and spacers are safe to sollow not to do this on purpose.

you'll be fine. i have spaces in too. i have an appt. monday for new brackets. (i already have my braces on; i just need to put on two more brackets.) and yea, you can swallow them. they're too small to get wrapped around your intestine. i swallow like all of my spacers. haha. my dentist always says its fine if you swallow it because most likely it will come out when your eating anything. and no, you wont have to get it replaced unless maybe it got them in the day you swallowed them, which you didnt. good luck! :)

You'll be fine until your apt. The spacers actually make more room than is needed. And you won't be getting any problems from swallowing the rubber band either....unless of course you've swallowed some watermelon seeds and have one growing in your stomach....HA.
