I used to have it really bad... This is how I deal with it everyday!
First of all I had to figure out what would trigger it. I would think about something really bad that happened to me and I would always think about it when I heard Country music! It sounds funny but that's just how the mind works
Then when the attack would happen, I would just tell myself it's all in my head and try to think about something else. It helps if you just make yourself focus on an object around you and think about better things. There is a reason people have attacks and you just have to figure that out first!
When I would have attacks, I honestly feel like I am having a heart attack. My heart pounds and I feel trapped and lost. You kind of feel helpless and scared! Worst feeling in the world!
Hope this helps you a little, didn't have much time to write!

Anxiety should be combatted front on. An aggresive stance by the sufferer instead of a fearful one works the best. Positive thinking and repitive thoughts and sayings in your head of I can get through this or beat this. You will find that you can sense the start of an attack and usually some physical activity frsh air and positive attitude all helps to recover faster then thinking the worst. Joining a gym and getting active helps too as it gets you out socialising and burning up energy.

Anxiety essentially involves an awareness of life's stresses and your own ability to cope with them. This can often be a difficult task in our busy and hectic 21st century.
Try to take a peaceful walk...
Deep breathing can help.

It was, by far, the most difficult struggle of my 41 year old life. I am slowly winning victory over it. Irrational fear that my life is meaningless...generalized anxiety. Victory acheived by steady and unrelenting concern for other living beings.

i got myself all worked up one night because I couldn't remember if I had put my trombone away after using it during lunch at school one day. i convinced myself that I had, and went to check first thing in the morning.

lets see I have anxiety attacks pretty much every day, they like you to try breathing deeply, listerning to calm music, lay down and try to relax, talk to a therapist, others such as myself take medication
