In 2002 Nissan sold the following models of the Altima 2.5,2.5s,2.5sl,and 3.5SE
The 2.5 base came with power windows and locks with a 5spd or a optional automatic transmission however it did not come with a radio or a/c and you can not have ac put on it!!!!!!
I have sold several we had and you cannot put a/c "unless you are getting a super cheap price on this Altima i wouldn't buy it you will never sell it or get a good trade in.
But if you need a good solid car and don't care about a/c then buy it to keep and never sell it.

I had an Altima and it was an 2003 fully loaded model. When I was looking around the dealership all the base models had a/c. It was factory. hope this helps.

Almost nothing comes 'standard' with a/c, radio, or power anything, BUT, the dealers buy them preloaded for the lot, so if you order, you are going to have to check those boxes, if you are looking at lot vehicles, you aren't going to see anything without a/c, especially in Fresno where I live!

A/C is actually still an option on cars. 99% of cars are ordered them with the option. maybe not in Alaska

Probably not as standard equipment. It's usually about an $800.00 option.
