I wonder which scripture Paul was referring to, though... as his quote is not written anywhere else in the Bible. There must have been part of accepted cannon that was destroyed or lost at some point. I wonder where it is? Interesting....

There is no punishment after death, Peoples action here and eventually is a matter for Karma. If you only think of yourself and the rewards you could reap by selfishness, you usually end up the victim but never realize it because you are so focused on what you intended to do.

Every deed we do has a consequence. We have to consider the consequences before we do any deed. Then we decide if we are willing to pay the price. Unfortunately many have come to the conclusion that by repenting of a sin means they no longer have to suffer the consequence.

Yes. I believe that everyone must eventually face the truth about what they have done and how it has affected the world.

I heard this referred to as "facing the Guardian"--it's not something you can avoid.

Which is why a lot of evil people look so hard for immortality.
