I think that the best way to know that you really love someone, is to have undying trust with each other. It sounds like you two need to sit down, and you tell him that you get jealous around him. He will probably understand, and you two can sort things out.

If you don't want to take that approach, I think that you should think before you get mad or jealous about something he does. Ask yourself questions; like what if you were in the same situation? How would you feel if your boyfriend was jealous of you for something like that? If it seems silly, you can just calm down, and not get so jealous or mad as easily.

Put yourself in his shoes.
If this really is love, which I can't say, I hope it works out.
Best of luck!

You made sense, your very young, so is your boyfriend. It's ok, your feelings are valid. Jealousy to a light point is good, more than that is bad. You need to look at the situation as a whole, is he doing things to provoke you? Are you insecure in the relationship? I don't want to rain on your parade, but the chances of you and him still being together in 10 years is slim to none, but that is not a bad thing. Young love is very passionate, as it should be, enjoy it. If your feeling overwhelming jealously there is a problem. I have been married for close to 20 years and I can still feel the twinge of jealousy at times, but I also know with the depth of my being, I have no reason to be. Once you feel that way, you'll know, you have a keeper. Good luck, and don't be too hard on him or on yourself.

Well, there's nothing much you can do about jealousy or getting angry at him for 'stupid reasons'---You are human. We all make mistakes. Know what I say? It isn't a relationship if you never have any bumps in the road. But, don't let your anger/jealousy control you.

You need to get a reality check. You are not the best thing that happened to him. The more you think this way the more you will be overcome with jealousy. Also if you love him, then you won't be so possessive. You have to realize he has his freedom to chose you or someone else.

Okay now where's my easy 10 points?

Keep communication open. Do not suffocate him. A person still needs their independence somewhat. It is not healthy to hold your feeling in. Do not try to confront issues when you are upset as this will lead to an argument. You need to express your feelings, but it is best to wait to discuss things when you are calm and have time to think your thoughts through. Do special little things like hide notes for him to find etc.

Just because you love someone does not mean you are meant to be together. There are a million reasons people break up but sometimes despite both people giving 110% into a relationship, peolpe just grow apart & their needs change which cannot be met by that person anymore....

Well. I think it all depends on Trust. As long as you trust him and I mean truly trust him you want be jealous. And if he loves you and he know that sometimes you get jealous then he will/ should take your feelings into consideration. As for getting mad at stupid things before you express your anger ask yourself why am I getting mad and see if its stupid or not

hey^^ i know how you fell, my girlfriend said she loves me, loves me to inifinity, and i loves her back, i get jealos so easily, and dont want to lose her in anyway, me and you show some similarites, for me, to get around this problem is that first you need to know that he really loves you, its obvious, if he doesnt he wouldnt say it right? and wouldnt spend time on you if he doesnt even loves you! trust and honesty is the key to a successful relationship, if there is no trust, jealousy will grow,if you have problems, TELL HIM, dont just leave it, communication is important, so trust me, believe in you boyfriend, i mean if you guys are meant to be, everything will fall into place, and nothing and i mean nothing can stop you guys from being togther

If he senses that you are afraid of losing him, he might take advantage of that. I think that goes for both males and females. I know you don't want to be jealous and it is hard to stop a bad habit overnight.

I guess you can start by not making him somebody you can't live without. Nobody is that good.
