play a game of scrabble, having set aside the special letters earlier, and spell out a special word or something that has to do with being a father... leave little "signs" "hints" or "clues" around the house - say, a baby toy on the couch or booties on the floor next to your shoes or a bottle in the kitchen, baby soap in the bathroom...

Make him a special supper...using like baby carrots, baby corn, baby spinach, make the mashed potatoes blue or pink, cut his meat up really tiny, set a bib under his silverware. Light a #1 birthday candle scatter some safety pins on the table as confetti, maybe even use some diaper wipes as napkins. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

With our first child, we stuck blank labels on each side of a quarter (cut down to the size of the quarter) and colored one side pink and the other side baby blue. I walked into my in- laws house flipping the coin over and over until they finally asked what I was doing. I showed them the coin and it took a second, but they realized what it meant- would it be a boy or a girl?! Maybe you could do this to the new dad!

If you already know the Babies sex- go to the store & buy a pair of Baby Booties in the "Appropriate" color. Have them gift wrapped in a nice box, and at the "Right Moment"- present them to your guy, saying- "I have something Special for you..." -then let him open the box & figure it out! :) :) :)

I bought my hubby a pair of goofy shoes - they were dress shoes, but a funky style that he'd never wear. I stuffed a pair of baby sneakers INSIDE the hubby's shoes and gift wrapped them.

When hubby opened the present and saw the funky shoes - I could totally tell he was on the spot - because he hated them and didnt want to offend me. Then I INSISTED he try them on... and thats when he found the baby shoes inside!!

I gave the father of my kids the home pregnancy test. I wrapped it up like a present and of course had the part you pee on wrapped up, and the look on his face when he say it was the best I've ever seen. I wish you all the luck.

Give him a small rock and say " this is the size of our baby at the moment". Or give him two small rocks if your having twins!

Good luck and enjoy being pregnant.

get some cider and buy a pacifier and put it in his cider.. I did that to my husband with our first child. For the second i put Your GOING TO BE A DADDY on the screen saver. There are so many things to do to surprise them I am hoping to have another to think of something else.

Put an infant ball cap in a box and wrap it, tell him you have a present for him. You can substitute the ball cap for anything that suits you both. Congrats!
