To get a criminal offense expunged from your record is a long and painful processes. You need to contact the State Attorney General office in your state and get the information on the forms you will need to file. You will need an attorney to help you as well.
Many crimes, depending on the state, will NOT be eligible for for this. Only your state's Attorney General can tell you if your offense is one that is. I suggest visiting their website before calling to see if they have a schedule of offenses eligible for removal.

Different states have different rules. In some situations, you will need to contact the department of public safety for your state.
In colorado, all you need is to contact the chief where the arrest occurred. If the chief is willing to write the DPS a letter, asking that the arrest be removed, then it is removed.
Thanks

No. it truly is a legal - not a misdemeanor. you probably did the crime, and it maintains to be on your checklist. it truly is why it truly is noted as your everlasting checklist. that is everlasting. And in case you lie on an application and that they discover out later, you're able to be fired in elementary terms for mendacity.

look on your clerk of the court website to see what paperwork is needed to get expunged. i believe that you can have it removed. you may or may not need an attorney to help. it is worth it if you can get it off your record.
