If he's going to the same school you are, screw your friend! Her opinion matters, but liking someone isn't a fashion thing. If he's going to be around, keep liking him, and do the guy a favour and drop some hints. You'll be surprised how often a guy likes you back but is equally as shy.

Does your friend always tells you with what you should do with your life?... In the first place, you really have to know yourself. Why do you like him, what made you like him and ask yourself if that would be enough to let you forget him. Is he making your life miserable?...
My one piece of advice... You should tell him what you feel. It was never a sin or an embarrassment to do that. At least your being honest with yourself. After that, I guarantee you, you can readily go on with your life with no more baggage to carry on.
Im praying for you.. Hope I have been a little help for you..

If you never tell him you'll never know if it could have turned into something good. Just talk to him and see how he feels about you. Your getting older so you have to learn how to handle situations differently. Be upfront and ask him if he ever thought about going out with you. Or say you heard a rumor he liked you and you wanted to know if it was true. But let him know that wouldn't be a bad thing so he isn't compelled to deny it out of embarrassment. If he says no, forget about him and move on. If he says yes, then take it slow and see what's up.

your friend isn't very smart, I've had a crush on my gf since we were 6 years old, and now we're 15 and still going out. If you like him, don't stop. Besides, you're in junior high, you're not 'moving on with your life' if you stop crushing on a guy.

Your friend cannot tell you who to like, you decide who you are interested in and who you are not. Feelings of the heart have nothing to do with advancing in school. If you like the guy you should not be afraid to make the first step, what's the worst that can happen?

if you are not going to tell him. then what is the point to even like him. However, when you change for middle school maybe apart of your change should be that you tell him. But u decide.

Don't change who you are in middle school. That isn't how it works. Be yourself and yes through that school year you will change. But don't worry.

Umm do what ever you want. Your friends are mean, you shouldn't change for them. Change for only yourself and if they were really your friends they wouldn't want you to change.
