Put posters up, take up ads in the news paper, check shelters, tell your local radios. Get a new, stronger fence. Hounds tend to follow their noses. There are some people who you can pay to use their dogs as search dogs for your lost pet, but they're next to impossible to find. P.S. if you get the dog back, get him microchipped, unless you have already.

Good luck.

I work part time at a vets office and we had a dog get loose. Everyone searched and searched for hours. What really helped us find the dog was contacting all the Animal shelters, the Humane Societies, and then plastering posters everywhere. The dog was found by the Animal shelter and then returned to the vets office. Call all your local vets offices eveything, and then once the dog is found get it mico chipped. Also check backyards and other yard that have dogs

2 weeks ago?? That's a long time to wait to start looking for the dog.. I'll get right on looking for that 2 year old hound type maybe female dog that your cousin lost..
Post signs, contact the SPCA, Animal control, your local vets, put an ad in the newspaper, put a sign up at the grocery store, at the local pizza shop, the dog park, anywhere people go, put up a sign..
