Tonight i'm rewarding my eight year old kid sister to a 'big girl's night in'.
I'm surprising her with cookie dough, movies, popcorn, and hot chocolate.
Any other good ideas for other things to cook/bake or do?

You are such a darling girl! Well, I recommend beauty stuff, do your nails, facials, do a makeover. If she's not into makeup, how about rice krispie treats, always fun to make. Also, choreographing her own dance videos to her favorite songs. Videotape! Photoshoots ! And of course, ask her what she'd love to do with you. Have fun girls! She's a lucky kid sister.

There are so many cute little things that you can do.....just think like a princess and you will have it made!
All little girls love their hair done, make done, and even all their little piggies painted!! Give her a mini makeover and that should make her night!!
Also, allow her to really get involved with making the popcorn and the hot chocolate....let her pick from the choices of movies that you have! Make her feel like it is her special night! Oh and dont forget the marchmallows or whip cream for the hot chocolate!
Pizza is always an easy one if you can have that delivered. I use to love sitting a a big blanket in front of the tv just eating out of the pizza box and being allowed to have soda!! Just just have to think out of the box and think about the little things she is just not allowed to do on a day to day basis!

This is so sweet of you to do. You do not need anything else just spending time with her is great. As the night goes on let her pick something to do. Way to go girl

why not start a tradition with her. perhaps like a scrapbook that you two can add to and you will be able to enjoy once you both are grown.
it is amazing how important these things become when you become older. Have fun !!!

Pizza or grilled cheese. Have some milk and some carrot sticks too.
