I think the question he asked was leading you on but I am glad you asked him that and he avoided what ever the answer he wanted
He should have seen a picture of you to know your style or ask what you like to wear when you go out
knowing your home he asked what you were wearing
Good woman for noticing!

That seems perverted at first, but because he said style that makes me think that hes not a perv. BUT he could have been using that as a cover up so you would still be interested. If I were you I would talk to him some more, but if asks one more question like that, stop talking to him.

He's probably trying to encourage some sexy conversations, or even cyber-sex. This is a very strange behavior, and could be a big red flag that you are really talking to a pervert or even worse. Do not give him any information on how to contact you or find you in real life. It would be best to stop communicating with him, and blocking his messages.

I agree with what he's saying- I know a fair amount of women online, and occasionally I'll ask them what they're wearing to see their style, too. Although online you get to know a person through what they're saying, you don't see them 'passively' do anything; do anything without thinking. The answer to what clothes you wear, while also shows style, shows personality too.
But then, it could be taken the other way, too. What is the guy like, and you'll know for what reason he's asking.

when someone asks you a question like that over the Internet, that is weird.... If you have a bad feeling, follow you instinct, because your gut feeling is always right. Why doesn't he come out right and ask you what kind of style do you have? Since when do guys care so much about fashion? These are questions to ponder

I don't suppose he would come right out and say he was a pervert, even if he was. I would give hime the benefit of the doubt this time, but watch for any other signs of being a weirdo. Next time, lose him.

I dont know if I would call him a "pervert", but yeah...guys are very visual so he wanted to imagine you in detail. It depends on if you like him that way, if you do, its a normal guy thing to ask

That is a very good possibility. Some people conduct entire realtionships online - including the sex part. I think your answer probably threw him off, but be careful with him.
