i tried to instal stunts an duel games taht works perfectly at windows 98 but the simple reason cuz it doesnt work on xp is because xpdont uses msdos like 98 and 95.
msdos works on windows xp not by itself so i guess its imposible to make run those versions of games on xp
get and old computer, or find newer versions

Some programs just wont work with XP, but if you can get it on the system you can sometimes play the game. Here's how, on your icon you right click and choose properties. Choose the computability tab. You will see that there is an option to check with a drop down box to run the program in a previous version of Windows mode.

Probably you can use program compatibility, in Windows XP right click the program, click properties, then the compatibility tab, check boxes, re start the computer and see if the game will play, and check to see if your hard drive will take the program space wise. Good luck

Have you tried to go to the game publisher to see if an upgrade is available for you as a registered user?
Don't feel bad though, I have Neverwinter Nights (Gold and Diamond) editions, They worked fine in XP, but now I've upgraded to Vista and NO GO.
I have downloaded all suggestions from the creator of the game, but, NO GO.
If Bioware and Atari do not soon provide a patch for me I may very well NEVER buy their stuff again.

If you can get it installed use the help and support icon on your start file to help you make programs from older windows work with Win XP.
Another option to get your software intsalled is to stick the CD inside the CD rom but don't go through the installation process it gives you. Open up the CD and find the install icon and click on it.

You will not be able to play old windows games on a new operating system which has a different video driver. You can play new games on a new system and old games on an old system.
