People look long and hard at the race before they date it, than they innocently say "love is color blind." B*ll S***t.

bummer! you must've had a pretty bad experience... come out to California! i think that it really is much more "color blind" here since there's just so much diversity -- at least in the bigger cities... i've been asked out by and have dated just about every race, creed and color out here -- and it's really fun learning other cultures and backgrounds!!!

in fact, abt to head out with someone of a different color/race in an hour... excited to learn more abt Jewish culture!

It's most certainly not color blind for sure!! It has been shown from studies on human behaviour that people prefer being with others who are similar to them and feel uncomfortable with difference and diversity... whatever was written above about California is bogus. I live in a multicultural, multi-ethnic city and country too and the segregation is there for everyone to see even when it comes to 'love'...

Anyway the actual saying is 'love is blind', not 'color blind', which takes a completely different meaning.

People aren't color blind to love.

Who cares about how you got there. People sometimes rise above their gut reactions and look past stereo types and find some one so special they need to be together.

Don't condemn all their relationships because of your narrow-minded attitude.

i believe you,re reacting to the why black man dates white girl question from earlier. it should be an affront to black women . he basically said that black women are too much for a black man to handle, so they go for the unwanted in white society. so it seems that the weaker of the races can still find love and companionship, which is good.

Love isn't "looking at something before you date it".

Love is colorblind - love is blind, period.
