The Lord, thy God, is a jealous God. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Jealous of what?

Well, if there are no other gods, it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense for God to have made the 1st commandment, "Thou will have no other gods before me".
I do believe that the God being discussed in the verse you mentioned is the one true God, the creator of the universe. As such, he is unique, he is what he is, he is "the first and the last" (another translation of Isaiah 44:6).

well you have to know what a God really is, did you know that moses was a God EX 7:1
GOD
Anything that is worshiped can be termed a god, inasmuch as the worshiper attributes to it might greater than his own and venerates it. A person can even let his belly be a god. (Ro 16:18; Php 3:18, 19) The Bible makes mention of many gods (Ps 86:8; 1Co 8:5, 6), but it shows that the gods of the nations are valueless gods.—Ps 96:5; see GODS AND GODDESSES.
Hebrew Terms. Among the Hebrew words that are translated “God” is ’El, probably meaning “Mighty One; Strong One.” (Ge 14:18) It is used with reference to Jehovah, to other gods, and to men. It is also used extensively in the makeup of proper names, such as Elisha (meaning “God Is Salvation”) and Michael (“Who Is Like God?”). In some places ’El appears with the definite article (ha‧’El′, literally, “the God”) with reference to Jehovah, thereby distinguishing him from other gods.—Ge 46:3; 2Sa 22:31; see NW appendix, p. 1567.

What you've read in Isaiah 44:6 is true of course. It was written by the Prophet Isaiah. During that time, the Lord Jesus Christ was not yet made known to people.
BUT, when the time came, God sent forth his Son.
Galatians 4:4
" but when the fulness of the time came, God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, "
Is His Son GOD?
Let's read Hebrews 1:8
"but of the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever; And the sceptre of uprightness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. "
Amen.

Yes, I believe in one God. His name is Jesus Christ. I believe this because I was raised as a christion. I ran away from God then realised that my life was falling apart. I came back to him cause I found out I needed Christ. No one will ever live till you've lived with the Great Im.

I believe in the One True God and no other gods. Why? Because I was raised to believe that way, because the Bible has proven itself to me to be true and it says there is only one God and because God Himself is real and has proven Himself to me time and time again. For those requiring non-spiritual proof, okay, how about this:
If there were multiple gods, and more than one of them claimed to be the creator of the universe with supreme powers, then they would be invalidating themselves because only one would be able to claim that they alone created the universe and all others would be lying or crazy. It would be impossible for all of them to be telling the truth, so how would one know which one is telling the truth? If any of them were lying, then if they were so "god-like" and superior and omnipotent, then why would they have to lie? If any of them lied, then that would make them less superior and more human. If they were more human, they would be less god-like. The sheer logic of it would mean that there could not be more than one god. Since God is the ONLY LIVING God, then all others, by reason of logic, must be false.

I don't believe in any god or gods. Gods are the invention of ancient men, created to explain the questions that today are answered better by science. "Scriptures" is just another way of saying "old superstitious stuff." That is what I believe.

Actually is doesn't say that. It says,
"I believe in God, the Father almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; He descended unto death. On the third day He rose again;
He ascended into heaven. He is seated at the right hand of the Father, and He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting."
I believe in the Holy Trinity.

There maybe a God but religion has definitely gone astray and does not define or represent our creator. Man has written religious text to gain power by emulating a higher power.
