I've smoked for 9 years now and my mother in-law has been smoking since she was in high school so about 15 or 16 and she is now 48 and she still smokes and is completely healthy. My husband has been smoking for 11 years and we both have great paying jobs and a wonderful family and house. Therefore we aren't slackers.

Used to. Lost a lot of years to being stoned..sure, colors were brighter, whites whiter, but no real energy..no real ambition...Quit for over 4 years, then tried to get high--was the worst experience.Felt like I had to sh_t,puke, or pass out! Spent the whole high sitting on the toilet. I never thought I would live without pot in my life, but now that I do I have so much more energy, more ideas, better uses for my time. I will not go back to the shiftless, lazy life I had. Burned up a lot of years that I cannot recover. And a lot of $ down the drain. An altered state of existence is no way to experience life....I truly wish I had not wasted so many years. Its easy to become dependant on the altered reality.

When I had active cancer I was amazed at how many people I knew smoked pot, (they offered me some and I needed it for extreme nausea and pain, that $100 pills could not contain). It ran the spectrum form 20's to 60's more than I would have ever imagined, just not my thing...

I smoked and even sold for about 4 years. Finally got into some jobs where there was random testing and quit. My current job doesn't test, so if you got a fatty, let's blaze it up! I believe Marijuana is less harmful and dangerous than alcohol, but that's just an opinion.

Used to for a couple years. Fried my brains and got me into a deep depression. Took about 6 years to gain back a good memory. I can't imagine how bad it must be for those that have smoked it over a longer amount of time!!!

yes i smoke pot 4-6 times a day and it is for the most part harmless, but over a long period of time, about seven years for me, you can tell the weed makes one slower to think and comprehend. can also make one lazy and unmotivated
