Metro North line is ran by Union Pacific Railroad. First year trainmen will make between 50 and 60 within five years around 70 to 80 a lot of "overtime" for employees. The Metra North line trainmen also cover freight when needed so that's why money is so different. No two employees make the same money. Jobs are changing constantly. Hope this answers your question.

They are called train conductors not ticket takers. Before you become a train conductor you have to go to school. It is just about collecting tickets you know how to operate the train. You will start off at the bottom, working as a trainman. Your hours will probably not be consistent. You will probably be working the late night shifts or what jobs are available on the list. The more seniority you have the better pick of the jobs you have.
