I don't see remaking it again. they tried that in the eighties and it was not that good.
I think they should just make another Shaolin Series, perhaps with a girl this time and not a western but maybe something like Charmed but with an Asian flair and no demons of the Christian interpretation. Let this be an Asian spiritual fight where she must face the great darkness that threatens her. Everything is hand to hand combat though weapons will show up from time to time.
If you like you can name her Cane and have her butting heads with the police who wonder what she is doing around all these fights and riots.
It could be fun.

Bruce Lee came up with the idea for Kung Fu, and was expecting to play the role! But the studio( in its wisdom)? thought that by casting a well known actor, the series would do better!
I think that now, the role could go to an Asian, and be excepted, and do well! It was a good show then, and it could be a good show again!

Did you know originally Kung Fu was supposed to star Jack Chan? But the producers felt he would not be suitable.

I think there should be something similar but not a remake. the remakes these days all seem to be so crappy and commercial. I would like to see more this kind of programming though. if they were going to remake anbything I think it should be Monkey that was Awesome

yeah that would be awesome but i'd rather see some Japanese karate action the only thing on tv now is power rangers can u believe that crap has been on for 10+ years its mind boggling
