The pagans used to worship the Goddess Venus on Friday the 13th. To worship the Goddess of Love you stayed home and celebrated love and beauty. Whether it was a marriage, or a couple or singles, or group worshiping.
The industrial revolution came along and since Friday the 13th was a week day, and people took off of work to Celebrate Venus, the industry decided to create negativity relating to Friday the 13th. such as making it a "bad luck" day.
Superstition is created by our minds. We can attract what we put out. The black cat crossing the road...if you say to yourself that it is bad luck, then it becomes one. You could say the opposite as well...the black cat is lucky...

I have a belief that if it's Friday the thirteenth, the next day will be Saturday the fourteenth. So far I've been right every time.
