You probably don't want to ask on this forum because you will usually get a lot of strange and or mean answers. That being said, I am very happy for you.
For interviews you don't really need to fast as they are just basic worthiness interviews similar to when you were baptized. You usually don't have to wait long to see the Stake president (did they say that you needed to see him? I don't think I had to) usually in a week or less.
On the day of your beessing it might be a good idea for you to fast before you go and to break your fast before you go just because i find it easier to concentrate on a full stomach. Also, try and be prayerful that whole day and avoid the media and things of that nature. Great job. I hope that you continue to hold on to that iron rod.

Fasting is always a good deal, it will help you spiritually. Also have in your mind on things you would like to like to know, you may not get the answer your looking for but it never hurts. You won't need to have an interview with your stake president. Your next visit after the Bishop is with your Patriach. Good luck and God bless.

Just relax and answer the questions, its not scary at all. You can fast, I didn't but because I have issues if I fast. I think my husband did fast.
I got my interviews very quickly but it was because the stake president was at our ward that following Sunday. It seems like everything "big" happened all at once. I got my patriarchal blessing, then my first calling, then we had temple interviews, then I got endowed and sealed to my husband. It happened over a span of about a month and a half. It was so quick after waiting what seemed like forever!
Enjoy this process and enjoy your blessing.

I'm happy to know that you'll be getting your Patriarchal Blessing this Sunday! Fasting for any spiritual interview and occurrence is always a good idea--in my opinion. It certainly can't hurt to try and keep the Spirit with you during such an important event for you.
I would think a week's wait would be about right to have your interview with the stake president.
Wishing you well with a blessing for life's events.

Just relax. You'll do fine with the Bishop. I don't recall needing to talk with a Stake President for a Patriarchal Blessing, though.

I don't remember having to meet with the stake president for mine, but then again, he was my soon to be father in law, so I might have..
Fasting is always good! Just remember to listen the blessing, and take what you can from it. You will get a copy of it a few weeks after, so keep that and read it often! I really will help you in life!

I got my patriarchal blessing shortly before I was supposed to go on my mission. I never went on my mission and joined the navy instead. I haven't read it in a long time, but I don't recall anything in there about becoming ex-mormon. Even at that period in time, I didn't like church and it was just a matter of time before I was to discover reality. I guess they couldn't see that, though.

it aspects you training and direction on your life. It gives you you specific advantages in case you're truthful. it could help us understand our weaknesses- like mine tells me to stay away from temptation. If we are attentive to what it says, then we are able to be greater arranged to steer great lives. you understand what's exciting for me is that there is a undeniable area of my blessing that gets repeated again and again in each and every priesthood blessing I obtain. it rather is not appropriate who provides me the blessing, in spite of if it rather is my residing house instructors, my father or my bishopric. I even have even had that reported once I even have been set aside. i assume the Lord thinks i ought to pay attention that. the project is that, our advantages are saved on report in Salt Lake. they at the instant are not related to our club information. they're especially own and no one else sees them. i think of that in case you ever loose yours, you are able to call Church headquarters and get a duplicate of it, yet there is no one there who reads them. Your close by leaders do not see them till you proportion it with them, they're so own. additionally at diverse situations on your life, the blessing could have specific meaning. I have been given mine while i became like 15- there are gives you in it, that on the time, i assumed "nicely of direction which will happen". regardless of the undeniable fact that as my life has not long gone precisely as I planned it out at 15. those advantages are that fairly greater important to me. Now that i'm almost 30, I understand why they're reported. It makes me grateful, while i think of a few of my objectives will by no skill be found out, I purely ought to study it and undergo in strategies that as long as i'm truthful, they are going to be. that's this form of reassuring difficulty for me each and every from time to time while i think of that it will not happen. rather i think of mine purely shows me how a lot the Lord loves me and is acquainted with what's best for me.
