I have several friends: One paid for my cab fare when we were drunk on a night out.....Another had me over his gf's beachhouse and cooked for us and had lots of booze, and another had us over with lots of booze.......

I tried giving them money ALL of them never accept it!

Why? Should I just let it be?

Just say "thank you!" and pull out your wallet the next time you get in a cab with one or you go out for drinks or dinner. Bring a bottle of wine or a keg or something when you go to the beach-house next time. Sounds like you have some generous friends and perhaps they sense that your pockets are not as deep as theirs. Don't take offense but be generous back so as not to take advantage and be seen as a 'leech' or such. Giving money after the fact is a little awkward ... just be first to pay next time.

You don't pay back friendship with money. You pay it back with friendship. Look for opportunities in your life to do the same for your friends. Have your own parties and supply the refreshment, whatever that may entail, or bring something to the next party someone else has, take someone to the airport, or offer to pick them up. Help them move or any other thing to just be there when they need you. So long as you are contributing your time and friendship to them, then all is well, if however you find you are always taking and never even attempting to give back, then you are not a good friend.

Just let it be, some time when they need you, you can help, or someday you'll have them over! Friends are there for each other. I'm sure they'll know that you'll "pay" them back somehow, but they dont want your money.

it seems like you have some nice friends that are trying to be nice. Why don't you let them. If you know they don't want money don't force them to take it. Go out and buy something you knoe they'll like.

Let it be and enjoy it. Maybe take them out to drink sometime, and tell the bartender you INSIST on taking the check, that no one else in your party can see it.
