Runs great @ idle, give it throttle then a little hesitation, then it winds up as tight as *****' hatband, then dies. Fuel supply is good. My mental power is low. HELP. Any Suggestions?

It cranks right back up after it shuts off, but dies after a second or two of throttle.
It's an older motor.

Sounds like a air leak in the fuel connector that plugs into the Eng. the o/ring may be bad. If not fuel pump. run an keep squeezing the bulb if it keeps running check fuel pump. Are filter all clean???

sound like fuel starvation problem, first thing i would check is the fuel filter, make sure is not plugged up. Take the fuel outlet hose that goes to fuel pump and see if pump while cranking. fuel pump is another where engine could starve for fuel. Carburetor could cause problem to so do the easiest test first to eliminate your problem.

particularly some the extra recent 2 cycle autos run at 50 to a million. yet particularly some the older autos ran at 25 to a million. If uncertain run it at 25 to a million. it particularly is often extra effective to run oil richer if unknown. it is going to upload extra lubricant to the motor.
