Does anyone else have this problem? I sweat (underarms) constantly! Doesn't matter what the temp outside is, I sweat in the winter/spring/summer/fall!! I have to change my shirt 3 sometimes 4 times a day, I mostly wear dark colors due to this problem. I've tried all deoderants, even the Secret "Perscription" strength, and no improvement. I'm embarrassed to call the doc, since you have to state your condition to the receptionist as to why you want the visit. What do I say? I sweat like a pig and need help? Any advice? Please, no teasing, as I'm already embarrassed asking this question.

You shouldn't feel embrassed actually alot of people deal with excessive sweating. I use to have this BAD. Im in high school and before even getting to first period I use to always have those big sweat stains under my arms. I hated that, until I bought Maxim on ebay. Its like Idk 9 or 10 dollars. You apply it on at night and in the morning you still do your regular shower, and apply deodrant. But somehow it helps you not as much. If you keep applying it every night, about that third day you should be sweat free (you still have to use regular deodrant everyday). You can read the reviews on this product just like I did before I purchased it. Good luck =)

Hi,
I have the same problem. Make an appt for a physical, you dont have to go into detail with the receptionist, and while you are there just mention that you are concerned about the sweating and is there anything she can prescribe. My doctor prescribed something called xerac-ac which is applied at night. it's not a stick like the secret clinical, its more of a clear liquid that is sort of sponged on from the top of the bottle and dries with a cool feeling. Good luck!

there are all sorts of of syndromes or conditions that can cause excess sweating. If, somewhere in your blood line you have Eastern European Jewish heritage, you may want to mention it to your Primary care physician. There is something called Bloom Syndrome, which is part of the Ashkenazi Panel diseases. It seems it's uncommon, but one of the effects of the syndrome excessive sweating. The sweating could also be something as simple as Hyperhidrosis, which is the scientific term for excessive sweating. There are different treatments, among which include pills that can help to inhibit sweating.

Best of luck to you.
