Hey, I lost the screw cap to it, now it doesn't work (well, it does when i use aluminum foil but i gotta hold it in place). I was wondering where could I get a replacement cap (if one is available or if anyone has a bright and creative idea on how make a makeshift one

It's probably not directly replaceable, but here's something to try:
Go buy a cheap 2-cell AAA *red* laser pen and see if that cap works on the green one. Try several different cheap red lasers and hopefully one of those caps will work.

(I'm talking about the red ones that cost less than US$10 or even less than $5.)

I would shove the aluminum foil in there and then try to find a plastic cap that would fit over and hold it in place.

this is where i got my fiance's green laser pointer that sounds a lot like yours. maybe they can sell you just a cap.

you can put aluminum foil in where it goes and tape it in (anything metal touching the battery will work)
