Jesus didn't go to a church because the true church he started was the day of Pentecost.
When Jesus spoke about the helper coming, that was contingent on him ascending back to heaven.
The day of Pentecost was the day "the helper" came upon the body of believers.
The helper was the Holy Spirit and the body of believers made up the church.
The church was, is and will always be the believers throughout the world, not a specific denomination.
Jesus is the head of the church and the believers make up the body,
Some believers can be found in a Baptist, Catholic, Pentecostal, Lutheran, you name it.

However there are churches that claim to be Christian, but they are not.
Matt 13:6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
When Jesus asked the disciples who did they think he was, and Peter said "You are the son of the living God".
When Jesus had responded, He did not mean Peter was the rock that He will build the church. Jesus was talking about Himself being the solid foundation of the church.
Gen 49:24 from thence is the shepard, the stone of Israel
Psalms 118:22 the stone the builders rejected
Isaiah 8:14 And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel.
Isaiah 28:16 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation; he that believeth shall not make haste.
And so on and so forth!

Jesus preached in synagogues, and also on the streets, and in people's homes where he was invited. He gave his famous "Sermon on the Mount" on a mountain top with the sky and open air as his backdrop.

Jesus was actually the founder of the Church, and as such, is it's Invisible Head (Ephesians 5:23). He created a Church here on earth to carry on after He left, and was taken up into heaven by his Father. He didn't "go to church", because the Church was an institution that He specifically started to carry on in His physical absense here on earth. The Church will continue on until the end of time, which means, until He returns again in the final judgement. There will be many hard times for the Church in the intervening years, including a Great Apostasy which is mentioned in Revelation. But Jesus Himself promised that the gates of Hell will not prevail against His Church -

Matthew 16:18 (New International Version) -

"And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it."

The Lord Jesus Christ is the HEAD of the Church.

Let's read Colossians 1:18

"And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. "

He is the saviour of this same church.

Ephesians 5:23

"For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, being himself the saviour of the body. "

This is the church which he purchased with his own blood.

Acts 20:28

"Take heed unto yourselves, and to all the flock, in the which the Holy Ghost hath made you bishops, to feed the church of God, which he purchased with his own blood. "

It's the church of God.

Mentioned in many verses in the epistles of Apostle Paul:

Galatians 1:13, 1 Corinthians 1:2, 2 Corinthians 1:1, 1 Tessalonians 2:14, 1 Timothy 3:15, 1 Corinthians 10:32, 1 Corinthians 11:22, 1 Corinthians 15:9, 1 Timothy 3:5

2 Corinthians 1:1

" Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia: "

This is where Paul is set an apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ. In this church. The church of God in the bible.

Jesus followed the old covenant by attending the Jewish Temple. He established His church on the day of Pentacost. Christ's church, the church of Christ, the Lord's church, the church of God, and several other appropriate names. All denominations came as a result of man. We should get back to the Bible and just be Christians.
This isn't a statement against organized religion. I'm saying we should give up denominationalism and assemble together as Christ's church like the Bible teaches us.

Jesus pretty much ran His own church, I'd say. He walked from town to town healing and teaching people.
Most churches DO help outsiders and insiders out. I've never known a church that hasn't. The love in them makes them want to do it and the fact that Jesus said we should help others. Yeah, churches teach that "repent..." That's why we get saved and ask for forgiveness. God commands it, and we must be saved to enter heaven.

Jesus was a Jew so he didn't go a church. He did go into the temples as stated in the Bible. Jesus did most of his preaching out in the open where the crowds flocked to hear him.

you're probably asking the congregation, not the infrastracture are you? well, there's no actually a true church in those days, cause there's only one and that is the church Christ created.. remember that Jesus said that the laws of the old testament(or the 10 commandments) were to be changed by two major laws..

The Jewish Synagogue, exclusively. He lived, died, and was buried as a Jewish Rabbi, and upon resurrection, he remained a Jewish God.

The separation between Jews and Christians came about 15 to 20 years after the Assension. One group began to want to do things entirely different, and there was NO such instruction to do anything different. Up until that moment in time, Jews were more than willing to embrace Jesus to some degree, but once they split, their hearts hardened, understandably.

Jesus was a Jew. The only time he ever went to church in the Bible, he went to a Jew Church.... and then he healed people and angred Pharisees. But, it's not like the New Testament was a day to day account of his life.

The local synogogue. Jesus was Jewish as was his mother, the 12 apostles, and most followers until Paul became a believer.
