When you are in a public place.
Someone talks in a loud voice on their cell phone.
This annoys me in a bad way. Does it annoy you?

The cell phone is the most annoying invention of the 21st century.
It isn't just restaurants and movie theaters, either. They're everywhere! You can't leave your home without running into someone yakking into one. Then again, perhaps you shouldn't leave your home, considering the number of knuckleheads trying to drive one-handed while carrying on a conversation. It isn't safe.

Yes. Some people just seem to speak so loud. You cannot help but overhear sometimes. Once on a bus a man spoke very loud and clear all about his toilet trouble. I think they might forget that they can be overheard.

One time I heard this in a grocery store, and I went in the next aisle, and yelled: "oh really, yeah yeah" loudly as in answer to what they were saying, and did I laugh. The cell phone user was miffed. So what.

Yes! And even more so if they are in line in front of you at a store and they don't get off their stupid phone to check out. It takes longer, and how rude is that to the poor clerk!

it's awful. my all time favorite is when some pig of a guy walks in with his baseball cap on(i was taught that a gentlemen removes his hat when entering a building) and his nextel chirps. then he proceeds to talk on speaker phone so that everyone has to listen to him b*tch about the job he was just on or his wife.what happened to consideration? i guess it doesn't mix with technology.

Drives me absolutely insane. When I was a server people would actually order while hanging on the phone. I think it is the rudest thing people can do.
